About me
My name is Maykel (he/him); I started working in software development in 2009 while I studied Software Engineering. I will share my thoughts and experiences on software development as I continue my journey.
Software, for me, is an art; it is not about just writing code but about beautifully solving a problem. To solve a problem beautifully, I submerge myself in it as deeply as possible. Understand it in and out, work closely with the stakeholders, and the solution comes naturally.
My main passions are software design/architecture and user interfaces. I believe the fusion of these creates delightful experiences that solve a problem. I also believe in continuous improvement and always seek to improve my craft, solve problems and make a difference.
